About Our Company

C. Verblaauw and Sons, LLC Dba NJ Decks and Railings is owned by Bruce and Judy Verblaauw. Bruce is a second-generation carpenter with more than 50 years of experience. Our professional staff oversees the building of each and every deck. We offer a Lifetime personal warranty on our workmanship as well as honor all manufacturers’ warranties on their materials which are typically 25-50 years.

Every deck and outdoor living project, whether large or small, is very important to us. We are known to our customers as being a professional and honest NJ decks & railings company. We have long-term experience in client relations since we have been working in many condo and townhouse communities for over 25 years. We know the in’s and out’s of working with multiple parties to obtain a goal.

In 2012, we became the first builder in New Jersey to obtain our Master Deck Builder Certification from NADRA (The North American Deck and Railing Association).

After completing the Deck Education courses 3 & 4 in Baltimore at Deck Expo in October 2012, we became the first builder in New Jersey to obtain our Master Deck Builder Certification from NADRA (The North American Deck and Railing Association).
